Cláudio Torres, director of Mértola’s Archaeological Field (CAM), will deliver a lecture as part of the Interdisciplinary colloquium: borders the Mediterranean, organised by the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research, University of Lisbon, on 6th February, 4:00 PM.
In the next month of December the latest publications of Mértola’s Archaeological Field (CAM) will be presented: the proceedings of the meeting “Acervos patrimoniais: novas perspetivas e abordagens” (“Heritage library collections: new perspectives and approaches”) and the journal “Arqueologia Medieval” no. 12 (“Medieval Archaeology”).
On 23th November, 6:30 PM, at the Mértola Book Fair, the latest publications of Mértola’s Archaeological Field will be presented: “Arqueologia Medieval”, n.º 12 (“Medieval Archaeology”, no 12), and “Acervos Patrimoniais Novas Perspetivas e Abordagens” (“Heritage library collections: new perspectives and approaches”).
“The exhibition ‘Mértola, the last port of the Mediterranean’ by Santiago Macias will be unveiled on 13th November, 11:00 AM, at the Municipal Museum of Tavira - Islamic Centre, and will be open until 27th April 2013.
The tenth edition of the International Congress on Medieval pottery in the Mediterranean (X CICM2) will be held in Silves from 22nd October to 27th October 2012.
