Access conditions

The access to the resources provided by the research infrastructure is generally free to the general public and/or the scientific community, with a few exceptions where noted.

The library collections are freely available for in-house consultation by the general public, as well as the access to the IT equipment and wireless broadband. The use of the multifunction printer for printing or photocopying requires the payment of a fee according to a pricing table available at the premisses. Item loans for patrons are available on request to the management team, and are limited to 3 monographs or periodicals for a period of a month (renewable on request). Inter-library loan within Portugal, Europe and other territories will be considered by the management team, and require the payment of the postage and shipping costs.

The access to the archaeological laboratories and the archives, including the photographic archive, the drawing archive and personal archive of Jose Mattoso, require prior authorisation by the management team, according to the scientific merit of the proposed research.

Special requests and other situations not directly related with scientific research will be considered by the management team on a case by case basis.
