The CAM Library participates in the “Week of Reading” of the Group of Schools of Mértola

The Library of Mértola’s Archaeological Site (BCAM) participated in the past 21st of March “Week of Reading” of the Group of Schools of Mértola, held by the School Library / Educational Resource Centre Aurelio Frazão Saragoça. The reading session performed by BCAM to the class of 6C began with two excerpts from the book “Rafa e as férias de verão” (Rafa’s Summer Vacations), written by Fátima Pombo. This work follows the daily life of a 15 year old boy and the contradictions around him, focusing on the issues of adolescence, such as puberty, dating and family relationships. After the reading session, which was accompanied by music and by a short power point presentation illustrating the story, the students were asked to share their thoughts on this activity on Facebook.
